The Jury of the World Report Award 2026 unanimously assigned the following awards to:

  • Carol Guzy for the reportage ICE – Broken Families winner of the Master Award section.
    The prize will be 8.000 Euros;
  • Carlos Folgoso Sueiro for the reportage Alén do Lago (Beyond The Lake), The Alexia Special Prize in the Spotlight Award section.
    The prize will be 1.000 Euros.
  • Gianluca Panella with the image Boy with Kippah in the Single Shot Award section.
    The prize will be 2.000 Euros.

The top 40 shortlisted in the Single Shot category will be included in the 2026 edition of the Ethical Photography Festival and included in a scheduled screening.

All the reports awarded by the various juries will be produced by the Festival of Ethical Photography and exhibited in a thematic area dedicated to the World Report Award | Documenting Humanity

The Jury

These candidates represent the winners from over 1.200 works received, sent by mote than 1.000 photographers from 80 different countries.

We would like to express our deepest appreciation and gratitude to the members of the World Report Award 2026 Jury who have worked tirelessly with commitment, professionalism, and integrity.

The jury for the categories Master Award, Spotlight Award, Short Story Award, and Student Award is composed of: Stéphane Arnaud, Gail Fletcher, Renée C. Byer, Alberto Prina, and Aldo Mendichi.

The Jury for the two special The Alexia Prizes, which will be selected from among the finalists in the Spotlight and Student categories, is composed by Bruce Strong, Claudia Strong, Alberto Prina, and Aldo Mendichi.

The jury for the Single Shot Award and Non Profit Award categories is composed of the Festival’s artistic directors.
