INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATIONS

Since 2010, the Festival della Fotografia Etica has grown not only as an event, but as a network — built on the belief that photography moves forward when those who care about it move together.

Partnerships with international foundations, press organizations, NGOs and cultural institutions are crucial to the Festival’s work. Each collaboration brings a shared conviction that documentary photography and photojournalism are now more necessary than ever and deserve support, visibility and rigor, and that no single organization can sustain that work alone. By joining forces with others whose mission aligns with our own, the festival contributes to a stronger, more connected photographic industry — one where photographers are better supported, stories are better told, and the field as a whole grows more resilient.

VII FOUNDATION

2025 – On going

VII Foundation is committed to supporting in-depth journalism capable of addressing the great issues of our time. In an era when opinions and behaviors are increasingly drifting away from facts, the Foundation responds with a clear goal: to ensure that truth is documented so that communities around the world can make informed decisions and base their choices on concrete data and testimony. Curated in collaboration with the VII Foundation, the 2025 edition of the Festival presented the exhibition “YUGOSLAVIA: FINAL ACT — THIRTY YEARS AFTER THE SREBRENICA GENOCIDE”, commemorating the thirtieth anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide and the end of the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina. The exhibition highlights the fundamental role of photojournalism in preserving memory, pursuing justice, and ensuring that these events are not erased from history.
