COMPLETE BIOGRAPHYCAROLINE HUNTER

Caroline Hunter has been a picture editor for over twenty years and has worked with some of the most prominent names in photography. Caroline has commissioned and art-directed a wide range of photography, from still-life to concepts and celebrity cover shoots.
Caroline studied Fashion Journalism at the London College of Fashion followed by a degree in English Literature at Birkbeck, University of London. Caroline has worked as a picture researcher for The Saturday Telegraph Magazine and a picture editor for Emap publications and Time Out London. Caroline has also worked as a photography producer for a US advertising agency, a writer/editor and consultant, and is a regular portfolio reviewer at international photo-festivals. She has also given talks on photography.
Caroline has been a jury member for a number of international photography competitions including PDN Annual, Critical Mass/Photo Lucida, LensCulture’s Street Photography awards, Gomma Grant and Ojodopez Human Values. In 2017, Caroline was invited to be a nominator for the prestigious Deutsche Borse Photography Foundation prize.
Caroline is a picture editor for The Guardian Weekend Magazine and a TV judge in the second series of Sky Arts Master of Photography.
