Taranto dagli anni ’60 è sede della più grande acciaieria d’Europa, ma da 15 anni la produzione è in crisi e la città vive un profondo dissidio tra diritto al lavoro e diritto alla salute a causa dell’inquinamento ambientale provocato dai veleni della fabbrica.

Since the 1960s, Taranto has been home to the largest steel plant in Europe, but for the past 15 years, production has been in crisis. The city now faces a deep conflict between the right to work and the right to health, due to the environmental pollution caused by the factory’s toxic emissions.
