THE FESTIVAL NEEDS YOUR HELP,
SUPPORT US WITH A SMALL CONTRIBUTION!

2020 has been a tough year for everyone. Codogno, a small town very close to ours, became the epicenter og Covid-19 in the western world and the first red zone in Italy.

The north of Italy was one of the most severely hit by this pandemic. The social and economic disruption it caused is devastating and we’ll see the effects for many years to come.

Despite the difficulties, seven moths after the outbreak of the pandemic, we succeeded in carrying out the 11th edition of the Festival of Ethical Photography; we worked tirelessly to provide visitors with a memorable experience, but in full compliance with safety standards. This resulted in an unprecedented effort both on the part of the volunteers and organizers.

In the last edition we devoted an entire section of the Festival to the coverage of Coronavirus, as a representation of a local issue which soon became a global and shared international crisis.

We hosted the international open call Life in the Time of Coronavirus, promoted by the association Roma Fotografia in collaboration with TWM Factory, the magazine IL FOTOGRAFO and The Walkman Magazine, whose images were shown in Codogno.

Creating a collective memory of the emergency affecting our area was one of our goals.

A visual narrative including local and global stories was shown.

We would like to share knowledge and stories that matter, to promote a territory through a powerful tool like photography.

We wish to give a new impetus to the province of Lodi and to Codogno through this project and through the Festival of Ethical Photography.

For this reason we launched a fundraising campaign in collaboration with the Fondazione Comunitaria, a local nonprofit promoting solidarity initiatives in the province of Lodi. If you want to make a donation in favour of this project, you can click on this link or make a bank transfer:
