The Amateur Sports Association Roma Blind Football was founded in 2024 as the natural evolution of the former ASD Roma 2000. Its main purpose is the ongoing organization and management of amateur five-a-side football activities for the blind and visually impaired, including training, education, preparation, and support for the development of Paralympic sports activities.

Born and raised in the vibrant, metropolitan heart of the Eternal City—Rome—in 1974, Lorenzo comes from a technical-scientific background that, over time, began to feel increasingly limiting. What once was a path rooted in rigor gradually gave way to a deep yearning for creativity—an urge that found expression in the captivating art of photography.
Through this passion, Lorenzo began to see reality through new eyes. He felt increasingly like a citizen of the world, deeply resonating with the words of photographer Alex Webb: “I see myself as someone who sets out, explores and then, in the end, discovers.”
In recent years, Lorenzo has fully devoted himself to photography, cultivating an ever-growing interest in photojournalism. For him, photography has become much more than an art form—it is now a language that gives shape to his inner world, a dynamic tool of exploration that allows him to capture the continuous transformations of the human experience.
From this perspective emerged the need to explore the powerful human capacity for resilience and reaction in the face of adversity. This led Lorenzo to develop a photographic project focused on Paralympic sports, portraying the extraordinary ability of individuals to transcend the physical limitations imposed on them. It’s a uniquely human trait, unseen in the rest of the natural world.
